Ashley and her mom, Wayne, approached us with a dream of creating an intimate woodlands inspired wedding, where Hobbits Village, European Tea Garden, and Enchanted Forrest are fused into one gorgeous theme. Using natural materials, bringing the outdoors in, and creating elegance with the use of vintage china, figurines, and candlelight was of the utmost importance to Ashley. We had so much fun mixing earthy elements with vintage books, English and French imported Haviland china and tea cups, as well as their own family treasures to create a truly one of a kind celebration for Ashley and Joe.
Their venue, The French House in Amberly Village was the perfect choice as a backdrop to their whimsical ceremony and reception.
Ashley selected her parents house as the perfect venue for the ladies to get ready, the same place Ashley's older sister had gotten ready on her own wedding day 16 years earlier.
Dresses in different shades of blush and with different textures were selected from BHLDN to compliment each girls style.
Vintage china and tea cups, lanterns, wood slices and birdcages were accented with beautiful floral arrangements and loose succulents.
The moss covered escort card table was one of the many beautiful installations in the the house.
A lush floral arrangement of roses, hydrangea, and seeded eucalyptus greeted guest as they entered The French House.
Place settings included spray roses hand tied in lace ribbon.
The beautiful blush cake by Maureen Thie was adorned with roses to match the soft whimsical color pallet.
Below are a few more beautiful detail images from the day....enjoy!
